I don't normally read non-fiction, but I can guarantee you that this one is worth reading. No matter who you are, there is something that you can relate to and learn from this book.
Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google. Even a child who just entered school would know at least one of these big companies. But do we actually know how powerful they really are? What about the factors that helped them grow into these gigantic companies that we can't live without?
The author Scott Galloway approaches this phenomenon in a humorous and reader-friendly manner. The business language and statistics become helping aids to explain what's going on, instead of being obstacles to your understanding.
I was always interested in how these companies managed to grow so big in a fairly short amount of time. There are some bitter truths in there, but sometimes, that's what you need when you're in the sea of business. The Four answers most, if not all, of my questions that were burning inside of me about these great companies. I thought only the CEO of these companies would be able to answer me, but I guess it wouldn't be more objective than this book.
